A walk around my yard

I walked out onto my deck and there staring at me was this gorgeous red shouldered hawk. Oh he was so beautiful. I cannot do too much walking around today so I walked out the back door and the front door and took some pictures of what was right there in my yard. The sun just seemed to hit every flower perfectly. We are still having low humidity here in Florida. A rarity. And a cool breeze. Another rarity. So I am very much enjoying all of the flowers and wildlife.

      1. I am trying to post. I feel like posting some poetry but it all reads like I am bitching and feeling sorry for myself a lot! lol… *shrugs* so I kind of hibernate in my writing. Been working on a childhood memory/story. It steps away from the dark side of Tim for a bit! πŸ˜‰ I will post it someday soon. It was quite an adventure too me! πŸ™‚

  1. The hawk is becoming my favorite subject of yours.
The top photo looks like azaleas. Is that what they are?

Also, I have a question for you. I am going to start sharing a whole lot of photos on my blog, something I’ve wanted to do for a long time. Looking at and enjoying your photos has really inspired me to share pictures I’ve taken through the years.

I wrote a sort of intro post for this category and it includes saying that I was inspired by you and your photos to do this. So to the point, the question is, do you mind if I (basically) give you a shout out with your name, name of blog and then your url?

If not, that’s OK. I have no problem with editing that part out if you’re not comfortable with that.

    1. Yes, they are azaleas. I planted different colors all around the house and then in all of the trees on the side of the driveway when we first moved in. The back yard is just leaves from all the trees. I love that hawk so freaking much.
OMG ofcourse i don’t mind you using my name!!!!
I’m so excited I cannot wait to see your photos!!!!!

      1. Yay! Thank you. So happy to hear you’re excited too. I’m actually excited to use them as a springboard for some stories.

We had azalea bushes at the house we lived in. The woman there was a great gardner. I think all her fingers and toes were green. Lol.

The azaleas we had on our side were a bright pink, I guess that would be fuscia. I’ll post a pic of that soon. There was another one on the neighbor’s side that was a really pretty light purple.

OK cool! Thanks for you permission. I’m gonna post right now. πŸ™‚ ❀
