Tiny things that bring me joy

The raindrops in the birdbath, the old bamboo chimes my husband bought me when we moved into this house, the rope swing my dog used to wrestle with and my daughter and her childhood friends swung on, a blue jay feather, the trees in my yard. It truly is just the tiniest things that bring me joy

    1. I would love that. My husband JUST said it is amazing the things that I notice, find, get enjoyment from, and photograph in the moment. Maybe one day you’ll visit and look at the birds with me

    1. There ended up being blue feathers all over the yard. There were so many blue jays. Can’t wait to see what will be there tomorrow after all of the birds left. I couldn’t walk any more to go look today

  1. I completely agree. I wrote a post on playfulness a couple of weeks ago. Your post exemplifies what I was trying to get at. I want to touch that bulge in the tree trunk! X
